Best of the Baftas

So the Baftas were held last night and there were some amazing celeb outfits!
With stars from tv and reality shows such as Made in Chelsea and Sherlock, the red carpet was graced with the most gorgeous celebs!

I of course had my firm favourties.


Complete queen and fashion star of the night was Made in Chelseas Millie. She stood out a mile wearing her white Lanvin dress. With the perfect amount of tan and make up, Pro greens girl sure knows how to rock the red carpet. 
Holly Willoughby once again looked like a princess in her Jenny Packham gown. After her black mesh dress mistake on the voice a few weeks ago, this made up for it.

Towie star Lydia Bright made an entrance in her floor length Amnesty gown. Her hair and make up looked amazing!
Emilia Fox chose to go nude for the red carpet. Wearing quite a different combination of skirt and top. The risk paid off as she looked stunning.

When it came down to the men of the night there was one and only one who stood out to me. (Bearing in mind I have a major crush on him) Benedict Cumberbatch looked devishly handsome in his crisp white shirt and black suit.

Although the most stylish may not have won many awards, they sure get the fashion vote.

The last month or so has flown by! As if we are already in July. Terrifying. Next festive competition

So feelingstylish.co.uk is running a competition for us bloggers to create a Christmas window for Next. All you have to do is simply design your window using next products and submit your entry in a comment on the feelingstylish.co.uk blog. I have done my own entry (I will admit it is hard to create the window and make it look realistic so make sure you explain your concept) My window focuses on a pale colour scheme. It is extremely feminine and not obviously Christmas themed in the way that there is no red or gold to be seen! I chose to use the two glitter Christmas trees as features as they are adorable! I would actually have the fairy lights on the left wrapped through the branches of the trees for a more whimsical feel. I have then chosen two party dresses. Seeing as party season is all about the sparkle I chose to pale pink numbers both embellished beautifully with sequin. Money vs Style

As I sit here next to my best friend searching Amazon for a cheap pot of OPI muppets collection I can't help but wonder if having more money makes it easier to be more stylish?  Think about it..... Being a student means I am poor 99% of the time apart from my birthday or Christmas. Luckily for me it is my 21st birthday on Sunday and therefore had the luxury of having over 200 pounds to spend on of course clothes! Although I wanted my Mulberry Bayswater for my birthday I was EVEN more over joyed to unwrap my beautiful Michael Kors rose gold watch off my parents. (partly because it is extremely shiny) but mainly because this is the first truly expensive item I have really owned. The first thing I know I will keep for the rest of my life.  So does money make you more stylish? Look at celebrities, they are always the ones captured and photographed for the style pages of magazines, so why not photograph normal people?
