ASOS - A summer of love

Now I've always been a huge ASOS fan! I think partly because they have clothes that not everybody will be wearing and partly because I love waiting for my clothes to arrive in the post because it feels like Christmas day! Being a student the fact that they also offer student discount AND free delivery makes them my true love in the world of online shopping!

This season in particular the ASOS sale has been amazing! I booked a holiday last minute and have 10 days to gather together a whole new holiday wardrobe. (When you haven't been on holiday for 4 years it is actually quite a shock when you see what you use to wear) I immediately hit the website and I was NOT disappointed.

There is so much more but im being sneaky and saving them for myself! These three were just the beginning of my ASOS sale shopping. Granted the money I'm spending was supposed to be for food and general survival when I go back to uni but hey...I'm a fashion student these things are necessary right?

But on a serious note ladies and gents, get on asos.com and get your sales goodies! They always arrive within three days and they are always gorgeous.

The last month or so has flown by! As if we are already in July. Terrifying. Next festive competition

So feelingstylish.co.uk is running a competition for us bloggers to create a Christmas window for Next. All you have to do is simply design your window using next products and submit your entry in a comment on the feelingstylish.co.uk blog. I have done my own entry (I will admit it is hard to create the window and make it look realistic so make sure you explain your concept) My window focuses on a pale colour scheme. It is extremely feminine and not obviously Christmas themed in the way that there is no red or gold to be seen! I chose to use the two glitter Christmas trees as features as they are adorable! I would actually have the fairy lights on the left wrapped through the branches of the trees for a more whimsical feel. I have then chosen two party dresses. Seeing as party season is all about the sparkle I chose to pale pink numbers both embellished beautifully with sequin. Money vs Style

As I sit here next to my best friend searching Amazon for a cheap pot of OPI muppets collection I can't help but wonder if having more money makes it easier to be more stylish?  Think about it..... Being a student means I am poor 99% of the time apart from my birthday or Christmas. Luckily for me it is my 21st birthday on Sunday and therefore had the luxury of having over 200 pounds to spend on of course clothes! Although I wanted my Mulberry Bayswater for my birthday I was EVEN more over joyed to unwrap my beautiful Michael Kors rose gold watch off my parents. (partly because it is extremely shiny) but mainly because this is the first truly expensive item I have really owned. The first thing I know I will keep for the rest of my life.  So does money make you more stylish? Look at celebrities, they are always the ones captured and photographed for the style pages of magazines, so why not photograph normal people?
